Aims and Scope

Journal of Algorithmic Media and Platform Intelligence (JAMPI) is an international, peer-reviewed academic journal dedicated to advancing research on algorithm-driven media systems, digital platforms, intelligent communication technologies, and the social, economic, ethical, and governance implications of platform intelligence.

The journal provides an interdisciplinary forum for scholars, researchers, practitioners, and policy specialists working at the intersection of artificial intelligence, media studies, platform studies, communication, information systems, data science, digital economy, and technology governance. It welcomes theoretical, empirical, methodological, and applied contributions that examine how algorithms, data infrastructures, recommender systems, generative AI, platform architectures, and intelligent decision-making mechanisms shape media production, content distribution, user behavior, public discourse, business models, and social outcomes.

The journal particularly encourages research that explores the role of algorithmic systems in digital media ecosystems, including recommendation mechanisms, content moderation, platform governance, computational communication, audience analytics, human–AI interaction, misinformation detection, creator economies, platform labor, digital advertising, social media intelligence, media automation, and responsible AI in platform environments.

Double-blinded Peer Review

Committed to scientific integrity and editorial excellence, JAMPI employs a double-blinded peer-review process and adheres to the highest ethical standards as outlined by COPE. The journal embraces transparency, reproducibility, and accessibility, ensuring that all published content is freely available under an open-access model to maximize dissemination and global impact.
